With over 25 years of fleet management experience, SMH Fleet Solutions is recognised by the UK motor industry for its trusted reputation and for consistently delivering the highest standards in vehicle management and logistics.

During the last ten years we have grown progressively and have benefitted from continual investment in people, systems and facilities.

We currently have a workforce of over 500 people based at our sites in Worcester, Throckmorton, Gloucester, Bedford, St Helens and Corby, as well as at customer premises in Luton and Ellesmere Port. We are Investors In People accredited and understand that our people are the key to our success. We offer interesting and rewarding careers across a variety of areas including Technical Operations, Logistics, Administration, IT and Customer Service.

Our Values



In 2015, the Company expanded its service offering following a partnership merger with Hudson Kapel.

Specialising in vehicle inspections, salvage, securities and auctions, Hudson Kapel’s existing workshop and bodyshop operations were complimentary to SMH’s existing framework and metrics.

From a Bedford based company, Hudson Kapel has now grown into a company with a truly national footprint and it now offers a comprehensive portfolio of services.

In 2017, the Company broadened its service offering even further following an acquisition of CD Auction Group, a leading online vehicle remarketing business.

Based in Corby, CD Auction Group has over 25 years’ experience of remarketing and managing vehicles for many of the UK’s leading fleet operators.

CD Auction Group’s industry-leading online technology, supports multiple clients across the motor industry, by offering them a swift route to market with a high level of customer service.


We are experts in providing vehicle management and ancillary services to car manufacturers, contract hire and leasing companies, motor dealers and major fleet operators.

Our team has continually developed and improved systems and processes to meet the changing needs and exacting demands of our customers.
